PREPARING CHURCH FINANCIALS

We go to great lengths to ensure that our church financing process is as easy as possible; in general we do not need tax returns, personal guarantees or audited financial statements. We do however need financial statements and in general internally prepared statements are fine provided the underwriter can understand them. If you do not have financial statements prepared for your church we can recommend a number of accountants that have experience working with churches. We do not receive any compensation from the accountants and do not have any input on the work they perform. When applying for church financing it is important that you have at least basic financial reports that you can provide to us to review. We will review the statements and tell you what we can offer without any cost or obligation to you. The church is welcome to choose any accountant they feel comfortable with is not obligated to use one that we recommend. When selecting an accountant it is a good idea to make sure that they have experience working with churches. We do not guarantee the work of any accountant and it is the responsibility of the church to negotiate a fair price and time of completion.
